Gameday! Gameday! Gameday!

As you may have noticed, this post is kinda late.  Good thing for us all that Gray is back before the next game.  Being clever enough for a game day post is hard work.
Hopefully all of you had an awesome appropriate winter holiday. While my Christmas was full of family and wonderfulness, I can think of only one thing that will top off the whole event: a Sharks win over the Ducks.  The Sharks have had success against the Ducks this season (as outlined here by the one and only Sleek) but inevitably all discussions about these two teams goes back to the playoff meeting last spring.  It bothers me to no end to read lines like "The Ducks shocked the Sharks last spring in their playoff match-up." The Ducks were an 8 seed on the way up and the Sharks were a 1 seed that had grown complacent.
Will going up 4-0 in the regular season series make that loss go away? Of course not. But it always make me feel better to see the Ducks lose.  And it is important for the Sharks to take advantage of teams that teams that are struggling to get their winning mojo back.  But as with all Sharks vs. Ducks match-ups, anything can happen.
Tonight is also FTF Night at the Tank! I am so excited for this that I'm not going to let a little post Christmas case of food poisoning keep me from going.  I will be there with my camera documenting the whole affair. AfroPuff will be back tonight with her outstanding post-game recap so make sure you appropriately praise her for her awesomeness. Hope to see you at the Tank.
